Even if your involvement is minimal, our extensive experience ensures that your program will be a success. What size groups do you work with?
We can work with almost ANY size group. We have completed energizing 3-day retreats for 5 to 12 people and 4-hour programs for 250 to 1,200 participants. Give us a challenge!
- Over our 26 years of facilitating our top-rated programs, we’ve learned that a team-building group of 20 to 60 people is the sweet spot, as it balances positive energy and relationship-building.
How long are the team-building programs, time-wise?
We typically ask clients to allocate up to 3 hours for our standard half-day team-building workshop programs to ensure there’s ample time for both the planned activities and the conversations that deepen the learning experience.
For our Ty Howard’s Just Activities and Games program, sessions generally range from 4 to 7 hours (a full day), allowing for more in-depth exploration and fun. While our programs may not always use the entire allotted time, this longer session experience ensures that participants grasp and internalize the key team-building concepts and principles being taught.
- If you have a shorter time-frame, please let us know—we’re flexible and can usually adjust to meet your needs. Additionally, the number of participants can also influence the overall duration of a program.
Our Capturing Leadership Greatness program for executives, directors, and manager groups is a full, two-day experience.

Do you travel beyond the State of Maryland—and what are the associated travel costs?
Yes, we proudly travel across the United States and internationally to deliver our transformative team-building experiences. In fact, Ty Howard has delivered programs in 47 states and 7 countries. Depending on your group’s size, Ty may bring one or more co-facilitators to ensure an impactful and successful experience. When we travel, we follow a transparent, cost-effective policy that includes:
- Charging the federal mileage rate
- Staying in a 3 to 5 star equivalent hotel
- Flying travel expenses
- Adhering to federal daily per diem rates
Typically, we bill based on the actual expenses incurred rather than a flat per diem, which is usually more economical. If you have specific travel policies, we’re happy to work with you to accommodate them. No matter where your event is held, our commitment is to bring our expertise and personalized approach directly to you.

This program is typically presented via Zoom. If you prefer another video conferencing platform, just let us know.
